Allegheny Township Board of Supervisors
The Allegheny Township Board of Supervisors meet in regular session on the second Thursday of the month at 5:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building located at 3131 Colonial Drive, Duncansville, PA 16635. On occasion, the supervisors’ schedules may require the meeting date to be changed. Such changes are advertised in the Altoona Mirror and will be reflected on the website’s calendar.
The Board is comprised of three elected Township Supervisors. Currently David E. Burchfield, Jr. serves as Chairman of the Board, Fred N. Imler, II serves as Vice-Chairman and Arthur Martino is the other Supervisor. Each Supervisor serves a six year term.
Mr. Burchfield works for the family business, The Burchfield Organization, which is located in Allegheny Township. He resides with his wife Nicole on Mill road. Mr. Burchfield has served as a Township Supervisor since 2000. He is in charge of the Police Department and Office Personnel.
Mr. Imler serves as Vice-President of his family business Imler’s Poultry which is also located in Allegheny Township. He too resides on Mill Road and has served as Township Supervisor since 2002. He is responsible for the Road Department.
Mr. Martino lives in Foot of Ten with his wife, Dana. He is the Transportation Safety Director at Imler’s Poultry and enjoys playing music with several area bands. Before his appointment as a supervisor, Art served as the Allegheny Township Auditor. He oversees the Allegheny Township Sewer & Water Authority, the Allegheny Township Volunteer Fire Department, and public buildings..
